The GNU Hackers’ Meetings are a venue to discuss technical topics related to GNU and free software. GNU Hackers’ Meetings have been taking place since 2007: you may want to look at the pages documenting most past editions which in many cases also include presentation slides and video recordings.
The event atmosphere is always friendly and informal. Anybody is welcome to register and attend, including newcomers.
The next GNU Hackers’ Meeting will take place in İzmir, Turkey on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2022.
We updated the GHM 2022 web page with information about the venue, accommodation and transportation.
We are interesting in hearing about your GNU or other free software project: if you have a technical presentation to give you are more than welcome to register.
New projects and new people, even without a long public speaking experience, are particularly welcome. As soon as more talks are confirmed we will also add a preliminary programme on the web page.
The event is organised by E. who takes care of the logistics and by
myself, dealing with the event schedule. You are welcome to contact
us by mail at ghm2022@gnu.org, or to write to the public
mailing list ghm-discuss@gnu.org; you may subscribe to the
public mailing list from
the ghm-discuss
web interface.
Update: We decided to help students who wish to attend by contributing 50€ out of their 60€ attendance fee; they will need to only pay 10€, upon presenting proof of enrolment to us.
Please write to ghm2022@gnu.org for registering, either as a speaker or as a normal attendee.
We are looking forward to meeting you.
